Milford Senior High School

Milford Senior HIgh School is a comprehensive public high school serving approximately 1028 students in grades nine through twelve. Located about twenty miles south of Dover, the state capital, Milford Senior High School serves a mixture of rural and small town neighborhoods. The Milford school community takes pride in the rich diversity of its student population, and the school's ability to address the needs of its students. Milford High's curriuculum and course sequencing center around four Career Pathways: Arts and Sciences, visual and Performing Arts, Business Technology, and Technology Education. Each pathway is designed to prepare students for college or the world of work. The Arts and Sciences Pathway provides students with academic and aesthetic opportunities to prepare them for success in higher education. Within the pathway is a rich and challenging Honors program available to those seeking an in depth, highly academic, challenge. Business Pathway classes are conducted in state of the art Windows-based computer labs. Technology Education Pathway students pursue an integrated curriculum including current technology and hands-on experiences, and Visual and Performing Arts students prepare for exciting musical theatrical, and artistic experiences. Milford High School enhances its pathway approach to education by creating close partnerships with parent and community members/businesses.
